My work is an exploration of the self, place, and otherness vis-a-vis gentrification, eroding infrastructure and the identity politic. I gather from the construction projects consuming the working class Black and Brown neighborhoods I call home. This practice is an attempt to pass on the history of these streets while reducing waste and highlighting the shifting schema of contemporary urban life.
